Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions about how debt recovery really works? You’re not alone. At Final Warning, we believe in straight answers and total transparency—so you know exactly what to expect before you take the next step. Whether you’re chasing an overdue invoice or just want to understand the process, you’ll find clear, no-nonsense answers to our most common questions right here. If you need more details, our team is always on hand to help.
We have a strong track record, but no one can promise every debt will be paid. If we discover your debtor has disappeared or is insolvent, we’ll connect you with legal partners who offer a No Win, No Fee service for the next steps.
All payments go directly from the debtor to your account. Our agents never accept cash or any other payment on your behalf.
Our fee is £695 + VAT, plus 10% of what we recover. In many cases, you can add our fees to the total debt when instructing us.
We cover all of England and Wales. We do not operate in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
Just send us your unpaid invoice by email or post. We’ll send you an application form—complete it, pay the fee, and we’ll get to work.
Within 24 hours of our visit, you’ll get a detailed report:
- Vulnerability assessment
- Real-time photos
- Asset overview
- Conversation transcript
- Credit “Red Flag” alert
- Our expert recommendations
Yes. All our agents wear stab vests and body cameras for everyone’s safety. Cameras also provide a full record of every visit—protecting you, your debtor, and our team.
Absolutely not. Surprise is key. Giving advance warning only gives debtors time to hide, move, or dodge responsibility. We act quickly and discreetly to keep the odds in your favour.
No—once litigation has begun, we can’t get involved. But we’re happy to refer you to trusted legal partners who can help you take it further.
Court cases can drag on for years—and by the time you get a hearing, your debtor might have vanished or gone bust. Our approach is faster, more cost-effective, and gets results before things spiral.
Pre-court debt recovery means our highly trained, DBS-checked agents visit your debtor—usually within 48 hours—to open a direct conversation and seek a resolution before the courts get involved.
Within 24 hours of receiving your payment, we’ll send you a draft Letter Before Action (LBA). Sign and return it, and we’ll take it from there.
We work with limited companies, sole traders, and business partnerships across England and Wales, recovering unpaid invoices for goods or services.
If our agents find your debtor able to pay, we often secure full payment on the day of our visit. If that’s not possible, we’ll negotiate a payment plan for your approval—no time wasted.
